About

Designing for clarity,
at the scale of teams.

Senior UX/Product Designer · UX Lead · New York City area

I'm known for translating complex problems into elegant, intuitive, and accessible solutions. Over two decades of design experience, with a focus on scalable component systems, design ops, and mentoring cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact digital experiences.

Bio

I started in Photoshop at 18, I needed to understand why certain images worked and others didn't. That obsession led to graphic design, then to retouching, then to photography itself. Each step wasn't a career move, it was the same question asked at higher resolution: why does this feel right? That instinct for where the focus should go, what recedes, and what commands attention is now how I approach every interface I build. The medium changed. The question didn't.

Today I work at the intersection of systems thinking, design psychology, and Human-Computer Interaction. From high-stakes enterprise tools to consumer-facing products, I design experiences that are as inclusive as they are efficient — removing friction, building trust, and giving people a clear path to what they came to do.

I'm known for working upstream — shaping direction before engineering scopes the solution — and for connecting design decisions to business outcomes, not personal preferences or best-practice checklists.

UX Lead · Senior Product Designer

What sets me apart

01 — Systems

Systems-driven thinking.

I build robust, modifiable, reusable component libraries that scale — designed once, adopted everywhere, evolving in lockstep with the code.

02 — Collaboration

Leadership through collaboration.

I bridge teams — UX, engineering, product, and stakeholders — for aligned execution and decisions that survive contact with reality.

03 — Craft

Craft and precision.

Tying definition to the outcome: Every detail matters — from spacing to hierarchy to accessibility. Pixel-perfect isn't a finish; it's a posture maintained from day one.

04 — Mentorship

Mentorship.

I uplift others — guiding junior designers and cross-functional partners to success, and growing the practice as I grow the work.

05 — Emerging

AI as a force multiplier.

AI doesn't replace design judgment — it multiplies it. I integrate AI tools across the workflow: rapid ideation, content prototyping, research synthesis, and interaction pattern exploration. The result isn't just faster work, it's also better-reasoned work, arrived at sooner.
